Sunday 17th February - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was another excellent evening of football in the Nuneaton Academy 6 a side league on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions.

There was a big result at the top of the Premier Division as Jack's Army beat Deportivo LF 2-0, inflicting the first dropped points of the season on their opponents.  Jack's Army are now just two points off the summit which has opened the league up somewhat heading into the final 5 weeks. 

Exeter Gently remain in third place after a 6-1 victory over Inter YN who drop to fifth, whilst Misfits were 1-0 winners over Sky Blues 87 to climb above them and out of the bottom two.

Dark Fruit FC remain top of Division One after their friendly win this week, but Real Sosobad fell two points off the pace as they were beaten 2-1 at the hands of Dixy Pigeons in a shock result!   Egg Fried Reus move to two points off second place and climb above Extra Special Ones after they disposed of them 3-0.

Finally, Mean Machine inflicted another defeat on bottom of the table Madeleine Milan, 3-1 the final score.
