Sunday 24th March - Nuneaton End of Season Round-Up

It was a fantastic end to the season in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance and the Premier Division title being decided on the final day!  

Jack's Army, despite being in second place for a majority of the campaign, managed to seal the title in one of the most entertaining seasons in a long time.  They ran out 2-1 winners over Deportivo LF, a result which sees them pipped to the post by a single point.  Deportivo made to pay for their form in the second half of the campaign in which they only won 3 of their final 7 games.

Dark Fruit FC maybe had one eye on next season as they were already confirmed Division One champions, they were beaten 3-0 by TBDB FC who themselves sealed promotion in second place.

Sky Blues 87 and Hardly Athletic will be playing Division One football next season as both were relegated from the Premier Division.
