Monday 11th February - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Walsall on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.

Boats and Hoes go top of the Premier Division but lost their perfect record this week as they drew 2-2 against Moggy's Mountaineers who are proving difficult to beat since their promotion.  This result was enough though though as Expected Toulouse dropped into second spot following a 3-2 reverse at the hands of John Beans. 

Ajax Trees Down are in third position following their thrilling 5-3 victory over Soccer Cleats Utd, whilst Lazy HIll Lions were 4-2 victors over second bottom Cowdenbeef.  Bandits remain pointless although they were involved in an end to end game, but lost 4-3 to Exeter Gently.

Paris Ganjaman and Chicken Tikka MoSalah are neck and neck in Division One as both have maximum points from the opening 4 games.  Paris were 3-0 winners over Edwards Allstars and sit top on goal difference, whilst Chicken Tikka were 3-1 winners over third placed Oak Park Penguins.

Two teams also sit on maximum points in Division Two, Pelsall Sevilla are top by 2 goals on goal difference after a 6-2 win over Balotellitubbies whilst second placed Twinkle Toes are close behind, they won 3-2 in their match against Celsius.

Third placed Blakenallontour were held to a 1-1 draw by Arbo FC in a surprise result, which saw Arbo pick up their first point since joining the league!  They will be hoping to build on that result next week as they face fifth placed Fat & Furious.
