The Grimsby Sunday 6-a-side league returned to the Oasis Academy after a two-week hiatus with some quality matches. 

FatnLazy FC started off the action with a 1-0 win over Leroys FC. Benchwarmers won their game against Tinpot United with the same scoreline, making for two tightly contested games. 

Reigning champions Peaky Ben Der were in flying form, dispatching Club Tropicana Drinks FC to keep pace with their main rivals International, who remained atop the table after they received a walkover against Clee Bargains, who were unavailable.
