WEEK 15 - MATCH NIGHT REVIEW 31.07.18

With just 3 weeks left of the current season it is still all to play for across both divisions!

PREMIER DIVISION ROUND-UP

It was great to see ANIMALS back in the league this week after a couple of months away. They put up a typically strong display against UN ATHLETICO but ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 scoreline. UN ATHLETICO have enjoyed another strong season but look to have come up short in the title race again as they chase an elusive second title (MVP: T Bryant)

League leaders REVO dispatched THE SHED FC 8-0 this week in a dominant display to give their goal difference a real boost in preparation for the title run-in (MVP: Nathan Williams). Only FC ROMANIA can realistically catch REVO now and they beat WIZARD OF OZIL 2-0 to keep the pressure on (MVP: Adrian Dobrica)

PARKLANDS secured a 2-0 win over ARSELONA in what has been a good season for the league veterans (MVP: Matt Best) and AC MILAN were treated to a Points Match friendly this week due to the absence of KERNOW PISTOLS who will be back next week.

DIV ONE ROUND-UP

Only one place to start which is at the top as two teams are locked in a fierce battle for the title!

League leaders RAYLEIGH BOYS have been on an incredible run this season and they won again this week seeing off a spirited CRYSTAL PHALLUS side 2-0 but close behind are RONALDOUGHNUTS who continue to match RAYLEIGH BOYS wins each week! This week RDN beat GIRTHERTS 4-1 in a decent match (MVP: Dom Pullen)

CRITERION CLUB have surged up the table in recent weeks and now sit 5th after another good performance and win; 3-1 over AJAX TREES DOWN who played their last game this week (MVP: Kevin 'Special K' Smith)

Another team departing the league this week are SIBILANCE who lost 2-1 to former champs FC LADZIO (MVP: Harry Mankee).

New side SPRING CHICKENS are now fully-fledged members of the league, but it wasn't an ideal week for them as KP V2 were rampant in a 7-1 win! (MVP: Kris Llewellyn)
