WEEK 7 - MATCH NIGHT REVIEW 09.10.18

PREMIER DIVISION ROUND-UP

FC ROMANIA closed the gap on the league leaders UN ATHLETICO this week following their 5-1 win over high flying WIZARD OF OZIL!

UN ATHLETICO were held to a 3-3 draw by former 3-time champions ANIMALS in a rather feisty encounter, a result which keeps ANIMALS in touch with the top 2 in what seems a 3-horse race for the title! (MVP: MIchal Wojtas)

Elsewhere STICKY BANDITS and PARKLANDS drew 1-1 and REVO and KERNOW PISTOLS picked up Points Match victories respectively.

AC SILHOUETTO were absent on the night but have confirmed they will be back next week.

News also breaking that a new team has signed up and will complete the Premier Division again from next week! More news on that to follow...

DIV ONE ROUND-UP

WRIGHT MEN CANT JUMP are 7 and 0 this season after their latest victory in Div One! This week they beat LADZIO 5-2 in a belter of a match to finish the night off in style!

Leading the chasing pack are LEAVE MY ARSELONA who beat a much improved SPARTAK TESCO 2-1 with RONALDOUGHNITS only a further 2 points back after their 2-0 win over league legends GIRTHERTS FC! (MVP: Billy McGibbon)

Also Div One witnessed two of the best 0-0 draws of Leisure Leagues history as firstly PHALLUS and TEAM TIGERS battled furiously for half an hour with neither side able to break the deadlock (MVP: Shaun Stevens) before BLUE BAR vs CRITERION also ended spectacularly as 0-0 (MVP: Jack Lettington-Smith)
