Portchester Monday 6 a side returns!

A long 4 months wait is over and 6 a side football returned to Portchester Community School as we were back into it with match day 3 of the season. Overall it was a good night although a few teams paid for their matches then had to pull out at late notice unfortunately, that wouldn't have anything to do with the pubs reopening would it? Anyway all teams had a game and we hope to see everyone back next week.

Nothing changes as far as the top of the Premier League is concerned as Swan Lake helped themselves to a 10-2 win against new side Locks Heath Lads. Eliot Roberts grabbing 5 goals along with strikes from Brad Smith 2, Louis Wallbridge and Ben Kerr. Captain Olly Rich and Johnson found the back of the net for Locks Heath. Line Up Lads also started back with a win to make it 3 out of 3 for them as they defeated another new side Portchy Pirates 5-0. Zidanes and Swan Lake Reserves both had points match wins.

We have new leaders in Div 1 as Mirror Signal Malouda took a points match win to go top. Rafa Cakes dropped to second after a 0-0 stalemate against UTF, you don't see many of those in 6 a side, keepers and defences on top. Dylan Smith 2 and Brad Fuller scored the goals as Who Asked FC secured a narrow victory in their match against Pathetic Athletic. Finally What's Happened? also had a points match win to move them up to 4th.

Thank you to all the attending teams and also our refs Zach, Shane and Con. See you all next week for match day 4.
