End of Season at Portchester Thursday 6 a side

Another great night of 6 a side football down at our Portchester Thursday 6 a side league last night as the curtains were drawn on another season. The dawn of a new beginning for all teams next Thursday, so much could happen between now and then, let's hope we are all looking forward to a Euro's final with England in it.

The Champions of Portchester again are Sergio Gameos Lee who finished the season with a 5-3 win over a strong HMS St Albans side to win the league by 7 points. Runners Up were Stroke Titty who lost their final match 3-2 to MK Bongs. In other results the relegated sides met and it was bottom of the table Kalou who after suffering a whole season in the top league finished on a high beating Lads On Toure 3-2, both will be strong contenders in Div 1 next season. Happy Sunflowers defeated Furzey FC 9-3 in the other match.

Congratulations to Div 1 Champions Wanyama's In Pyjamas who lift the title despite a 4-1 defeat on the final day of the season to Weight Watchers who did their bit in the hope of clinching a promotion spot. Who8AllThePie needed goals in their match against Chicken Tikka Taka and they got them winning 10-1, so now it was over to Pants who needed a win by 5 goals against Foxes Forest to go up on goal difference. The Foxes are no push over and it was a tough match for Pants, a five goal win was never really on the cards at any point as Foxes did Who8AllThePie a favour and sealed a 2-1 win. This meant Who8AllThePie finished above Weight Watchers on goal difference and Pants ended up 4th. Hard luck to Pants and Weight Watchers who have been excellent this season but a great effort all round. The hard work starts now for Wanyama's and Who8AllThePie going into the Premier League, could it be Sergio first game of next season? To finish off our round up there was also a good 3-0 victory for Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank to end the season against Fenerbackache.

Finally congratulations to Golden Boots winners Bailey Steele and Joe Neely and a big thank you to our match night supervisor Benji and our regular refs Con and Dave. See you all next week for the start of the new season!
