SERGIO GAMEOS CHAMPIONS of Portchester Thursday 6 a side

SEASON OVER for our teams in Portchester as our Thursday Night 6 a side leagues conclude for another season. Next season starts straight away next week though so we will be straight back to the action.

Congratulations to Sergio Gameos Lee for holding onto top spot in the Premier Division and finishing the season with 24 points to take the league title. Bailey Steele netted 6 in their final game win over Who8AllThePie to finish 2nd in the golden boot race, the 11 - 5 win confirming that MK Bongs could do no more to prevent them taking the top prize. MK Bongs finish a creditable 2nd just a point behind the champions, their season finished with a 5 - 0 points win, as did Stroke Titty who finished 4th. Ahead of them in 3rd are HMS St Albans - 42 Man Mess who's 5 - 4 win was a tight one on the last day. Kieran Edwards scored twice to confirm Siggurdsson's U14's place in Division One next season. Huge congratulations to Reece from MK Bongs who takes the golden boot in the premier division.

In Division One we already knew that Lads on Toure were champions so it was understandable that they let the foot off the gas a bit in the final week. They went down 5 - 2 to Pants who will surely start next season as favourites to win the league having missed out on promotion this time only on goal difference. Weight Watches do go up, so well done to them after a comfortable 8 - 1 win over Jimmy Floyd Bottle Bank they finish a well deserved 2nd, Harry Mack with a hattrick in their final game. Haven't got a Kalou are confirmed as 4th with a 3 - 2 win over Fenerbackache while Chicken Tikkataka end the season strongly with an 8 - 2 win over Foxes Forest, Lewis Lofting doing the damage with 6 goals to end the season 4th in the golden boot race. Josh Parry takes that trophy for Weight Watchers with 20 goals ahead of Albie Scottney who bagged 19 through the season.

So thanks for a great season, to all the captains and players and of course to the refs and supervisors without whom these leagues just wouldn't operate. We look forward to kicking off the new season next Thursday, the fixture will be out very soon.
