PORTCHESTER 6 A SIDE - THURSDAY LEAGUE

We had a great night of 6 a side again in Portchester last night as our Thursday night league ticked off week 3 of the season. Sergio had a night off with Happy Sunflowers away so their 5 - 0 win leaves them as one of 4 teams sharing the lead in the top flight. Chicken Tikka beat Cob FC 4 - 0 and AFC Purbrook inflicted a 1st defeat of the season on Lads on Toure with a 6 - 2 win, thanks in part to a well taken hat-trick from Pepe Rowland. In Division One it's Skertals that are out in front having played 3 and won 3 so far, they took a 2 - 1 win from their game with Wrecksome U12's this week and open up a 2 point lead early in the season. The Six Offenders also won well with a 10 - 6 win over BSC. The high scoring affair featured 3 hat-tricks, Zak Goodyear and Tom Andrew both for BSC and Brandon Stallard for Six Offenders. Netsix & Chill bounced back from defeat last week in style with a 7 - 0 win over Huge Eriksen. Mitch Othen the main man for them with 3 goals.

Pup657 could be the team to beat in Division Two this season, they scored 7 again this week in another end to end game. Jacob Payne bagged 4 to maintain their good start to the season with a 7 - 4 win over Star & Garter. Maradona Kebab took home a 3 - 2 win over Cross Keys and Pants got the better of Sum Ting Wong in a tight game that ended 2 - 1.

Well done to everyone involved this week, especially to Nathan for stepping up to cover Mike as supervisor. We have another exciting round of games coming up next Thursday including the top two meeting in Division One, definitely won't be one to miss.

Have a great week guys.
