Sergio and Moleicester win again at Portchester 6 a side

A hot night down at our Portchester Thursday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance apart from Liam Howard FC who unfortunately did not appear for the second week running and didn't contact us either so they will now be removed from the league. Overall this doesn't happen very often at the league but just a reminder to all teams that out of courtesy to your opponents above anything else please at least let the league know if you can't attend.

Apart from the above negative there was as usual some good matches that took place in the heat. At the top of the Premier League Sergio Gameos Lee took on Portchy Pantherz who gave them a decent game however Sergio proved to strong in the end and won the match 8-3 to stay 2 points clear at the top. In second place are Moleicester City who narrowly defeated a good Vikings side 3-2 to keep the pressure on Sergio. Stroke Titty lifted themselves off the bottom with a 2-0 win against Saxon although they are still 4 points adrift of safety with a far inferior goal difference so will be looking to bounce back from Div 1 next season. Finally Bayer Nevelusen moved up to 4th with a 8-3 win over Happy Sunflowers.

On to Div 1 and PPS all but secured the title with a 6-1 win over Jimmy Floyd to keep them 4 points clear with 2 games to go and a far superior goal difference. Develotec are in second spot after they had a 5-0 points match win due to Liam Howard not appearing while Haven't Got a Kalou are still in with a chance of promotion as they beat Foxes Forest 3-1 to stay a point behind Develotec. Finally Pants moved up to 4th with a 5-2 victory against AFC Baldy which helps them continue their good run of form.

Thank you to all teams and see you next week We do have a space in the league now but it looks like we have a couple of teams wanting to start so be quick if you want to nap that spot in Div 1 before it goes. You can register your team at the link below:
