Monday 18th March - Stafford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Stafford on Monday which saw all 24 teams in attendance throughout the night including new teams Onyx FC and Bumfica who played their first fixtures in the league this week.

50 Shades of O'Shea recovered from their first defeat last week as they won 2-1 against Absolutely Fabregas to continue their remarkable campaign.  They are closely followed by The Penguins who inflicted a 5-1 win over Murder on Zidane's Floor.  FC Truss Form overcame a stern test from Coton FC, as they ran out 5-4 winners in a nine goal thriler.  New team Onyx FC suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Weavers FC as they get to grips with the division.

The Division One table mirrors last weeks standings as not a single team moved places this week, the top four all winning in a night where results went as the table would suggest.  Perky Blinders stay at the summit after their 3-2 win over Robben your Points, whilst second placed Stafford Ballers ran out 5-1 winners against Netsix and Chill, Girouds Baguette inflicted a 4-0 defeat on Real Sociopath whilst Edel's Bad Boys edged past Cesc Pistols by a single goal.

In the new division no team has a 100% record after only three games which shows it is reasonably balanced.  Matip in Your Son top the pile after a 3-1 win over Remtrex, they're closely followed by a glut of teams on four points though.  Second placed How I Met Your Mata were 3-0 victors over Bumfica whilst third placed Bear Average ran out 6-1 winners over The Guvnors, and Whoatealldepays edged past Inter Le Madams 2-1.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Stafford's premier provider of small sided football.
