Monday 11th March - Stafford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Stafford on Monday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

It took 9 games to happen but 50 Shades of O Shea lost their 100% record this week as they were humbled by The Penguins by a convincing 5-2 scoreline, a result which moves Penguins just two points off the summit.

Truss Form remain in third place and just a point off second place following an impressive 5-2 victory over Absolutely Fabregas, whilst Coton FC were 5-0 winners against Weavers FC.

Top of Division One Perky Blinders moved three points clear of second placed Stafford Ballers as the two met this week, Blinders coming out on top in a 4-3 thriller.  Third place Girouds Baguette failed to fully capitalise on Ballers defeat as they stuttered in their match against second from bottom Netsix and Chill, the match ending goalless, a result which means they are level on points.

Edel's Bad Boys sit halfway in the table as they put 5 past bottom of the table Real Sociopath without reply, whilst Cesc Pistols edged past Robben Your Points 1-0.

In the second week of the new division starting we saw some entertaining matches take place.  How I Met Your Mata thrashed Inter Le Madams 7-1 to win their first game.  Meanwhile The Guvnors made it 2 wins from 2 as they put in a professional performance against Whoatealldepays, 2-0 the final score.  Finally Matip In Your Son played their first fixture in the league and edged past Bear Average 2-1.
