Monday 28th January - Stafford Weekly Round-Up

It was a much better evening of 6 a side football in Stafford on Monday with the addition of our three new teams, all of which started this week, with mixed fortunes.

The Penguins got off to a fine start in their opening game in the league as they beat Murder on Zidanes Floor in a 5-3 thriller.  Meanwhile Weavers FC suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of One Pint FC and Absolutely Fabregas were beaten 4-0 at the hands of 50 Shades.

There was a very serious incident involving a guest player from Murder on Zidane's Floor who displayed serious violent conduct towards an opposing player in their game this week.  We have permanently banned this player from all Leisure Leagues competition and would like to reiterate that we do not accept violent conduct in any form and as proven in the past will remove any players or teams who do not adhere to these simple league rules.
