Rugby Tuesday 18th December

The top two (Exeter Gently and Play Hard Or Go Home) went head to head this evening with three points separating them pre match! Exeter have been cruising recently with some very strong performances as a well drilled unit. Tonight however,they were stopped in their tracks somewhat and their game quashed a little by a good Play Hard side. Play Hard shown why they are in the chase for silverware as well as they looked rigid and difficult to break down. Along with a slightly under strength Exeter squad on the night,these factors led to a narrow Play Hard win. The gap at the top has been cut to one point!! Ballotellitubbies are still in the hunt for silverware as they managedto collect the points to put them on 15 points (with a further 6 points still up for grabs and still the likes of Play Hard above them to play). In our other ties, Netsix have given themselves a good chance of sneaking a top three spot as they move onto 13 points against DiamondUtd, whilst Benteke Fried Chicken couldn’t quite do enough to beat Making Emile Of It and had to settle for a point.

What a league night to end 2018 at Rugby Tuesday!!We wish all our teams a very merry Christmas and look forward to continuing the campaign on 8th January.
