Amazing to be back at Ryde Thursday 6 a side after lockdown

It was fantastic to see all 12 teams back at Ryde Thursday 6 a side league after lockdown 2.0.

In the Premier League it was reigning champions Geezas Return who lead the way and they came back with a bang to beat Getting On A Bit 12-1. Second place team Hurrell's Return also hit double figures as they they defeated Goldies 10-4 to stay a point behind the leaders. Promoted Butlins Bandits are looking comfortable in the top flight as they won 4-2 against new team Cool Runnings who have moved across from our Sunday league. In the other result Salt & Pepe picked up their first win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Roverners.

Class On Ash continued their impressive early season form as they made it 3 wins from 3 with a 7-2 victory over East Ryde Massive to keep them a point clear of Sat Fesh at the top of Div 1. Sat Fesh also won on their return after lockdown, beating Vectis Rovers 7-2. Men Behaving Chadli survived a late fight back from Murder On Zidanes Floor to win 9-6 and move up to third. Finally a massive congratulations to Raul Moat-drid who picked up their first ever win as they held on for a 6-5 victory over Chamakh My Pitch Up. Credit to the lads for turning up week in week out and not giving up, well deserved.

Thank you to all the players and refs. Looking forward to getting another couple of weeks football in before the Christmas break.
