Monday 13th December - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league at Sixways this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining fixtures played across all three divisions.

Phoenix's place at the top of the table remains unscathed as they were 2-0 victors in their match against Moyes N The Hood who continue to teeter above the drop zone in sixth place.  Tics on Toure continue to occupy second place as they won a thrilling encounter against Crouch Potato, 5-4 the final score as Tics stay a point off the leaders.  

In Division One, the two league games were closely contested, one was an entertaining encounter in which Route One Rovers were 4-3 winners over Plunger & Superglue, and the other was a more cagey encounter in which We Lose Evra Week were 1-0 winners over Inter Ya Nan.

Who Ate All Depays remain top of Division Two but have saw their lead swallowed up as they were beaten 2-1 against an ever improving Nomers team.  General Sports Enthusiasts sit in second place but missed their chance to go top as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Goals Aloud.  Hayleybeanie's Boys dropped to third place as they suffered a 3-2 reverse against Gerryhattricks, whilst Werder Beermen were 3-1 winners in their game against Balt-J as they move two points ahead off the bottom side.
