Tuesday 12th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a superb evening of 7 a side football in Worcester on Tuesday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night and a full programme of fixtures played across all three divisions.

FC Timisoara stay top of the table as they secured a 3-1 win over Woodgreen FCwho drop to fifrth.  Maradona Kebab stay in second place despite a 0-0 draw with bottom placed Gangs of Dwight Yorke.  There was another 0-0 draw between third placed Hakuna Juan Mata and BBC FC who remain in sixth spot.  Wallop United inflicted defeat on Crouching Woman Hidden Cucumber by a single goal in the final game of the night.

In Division One, Purge FC remain at the top of the pile despite  the surprise 4-0 reverse they suffered at the hands of Bell FC Reserves who bring themselves back into the chasing pack.  Droitwich Old Boys moved above this weeks opponents Rybrook Seagulls after their 3-2 victory, Seagulls slip to third after that result.  Rybrook Beagles are rooted to the bottom after another defeat (their fourth in five games), this week they lost 2-0 to Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole.  Finally Poor Toe moved out of the bottom two at the expense of this weeks opponents Nutty Marauders as the two played out a 4-3 thriller.

Murder on Zidane's Floor dropped their first points of the campaign this week after their 1-1 draw against third placed Sparks FC, Zidane's remain top despite this result.  Startin S7 move into second place after their 4-1 win over 1860 Worcester, whilst Centurions first win of the campaign came at the expense of Enville United who they beat by a single goal.  Metre High moved off the foot of the table but are still in the bottom two as they drew 1-1 with Boi FC this week.
