Tuesday 21st January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 7 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches except Sparks FC who cancelled late on, they return as normal on Tuesday 28th January.

It was honours even in the game between Poor Toe and Gangs of Dwight Yorke as they drew 1-1 to remain with identical records after three matches, they make up the top two in the Premier Division so far.  Hakuna Juan Mata moved up to third with a 6-1 thrashing of Murder on Zidane's Floor, whilst Crouching Woman picked up their first points of the campaign beating Hangover 2-1.  Last season's champions Droitwich Galacticos suffered their second defeat in three matches as they went down 4-2 against Woodgreen FC.

Startin S7 must've forgotten what defeat feels like as they won again this week meaning they're now 17 games unbeaten.  They were 5-0 winners against Inter Menan as they chase back to back promotions.  Second placed 1860 Worcester were 2-0 victors against Nutty Marauders whilst BBC won arguably game of the night 4-3 against Lads on Toure.

In Division Two Youlose and ABCDE FC played out a 1-1 draw as they remain the top two in the league.  Centurions remain in third but level on points with the top two after they put in a professional performance with a 2-0 win against Baeman FC, whilst there were two other thrashings with Boi FC cruised to a 7-0 win against 8DFC and Purge were 5-0 winners over Battenhall.
