Tuesday 19th March - Worcester Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening of 7 a side football in Worcester on Tuesday which saw all teams in attendance except Metre High who cancelled and Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole who will be spoken to accordingly.

On the field there were some superb matches played, FC Timisoara remain top of the Premier Division after securing their fifth win in six matches, 1-0 over Maradona Kebab.  Woodgreen FC move up to second place after a 2-0 win over Crouching Woman, whilst BBC FC sit in third after they beat Wallop United 3-2.  Gangs of Dwight Yorke stay bottom of the table but moved back into the mix as they secured a 3-2 win over Wallop.

Purge FC stay at the top of Division One after their 5-0 win this week, they're closely followed by Droitwich Old Boys who sit just a point off the pace after an impressive 6-2 win over Poor Toe FC, whilst there were 2-0 wins for Bell FC Reserves and Rybrook Seagulls in their matches against Nutty Marauders and Rybrook Beagles respectively.

In Division Two, Murder on Zidane's Floor put three without reply past Startin S7 to remain top of the table. That result enabled Sparks FC to move into the top two after their 4-1 win over Enville United, whilst 1860 Worcester sit in third place after their 5-0 win.   Centurions missed the chance to move up a place as they were beaten 3-0 by Boi FC who now move two points clear of them.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of matches with Worcester's premier small sided football provider.
