Tuesday 21st June - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some superb matches played across both divisions.

After playing out their withdrawal notice, Battenhall Wanderers have now withdrawn from the league.  This creates ONE TEAM SPACE in the second division and we can get any potentially interested new teams started immediately!  We are offering FREE ENTRY WORTH £25 to the next signup and will be in contact as soon as a team application is received!

Leaders Allstar Rejects continue to top the division on goal difference, they were 4-1 winners over Centurions FC, whilst Purge keep up the pressure as they were 2-0 winners over Nutty Marauders.  NCO FC returned to action after missing last week and they were on a mission as they issued a thrashing to Scranny Bao, running out 10-1 winners over their opponents.  Boi FC moved up to fifth place after a 5-2 win over Crouch Potatoes, and move level on points with fourth placed Dynamo Kebab, as they were beaten by the same scoreline at the hands new boys Not Too Xavi, who recorded their third win in a row since joining.

Murder on Zidane's Floor got back to winning ways this week after losing their first game last week, they were 5-3 winners over the outgoing Battenhall Wanderers.  New team Gruppo Select got off to a good start as they were 3-1 winners against Woo Town Wanderers, whilst Zouma's Kit Kats keep their promotion hopes alive after a 2-1 win over Warndon Heath in a closely competed game.  Haywood Jablowme stay seventh after a hard fought 3-2 win over Asbo FC who's impressive recent form was brought to an end.

Game of the night was without doubt the incredible 17 goal thriller in which RB Old Boys overcame Green Army by an 11-6 scoreline!
