THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE WORCESTER SIXWAYS LEAGUE 12TH MAY

Another excellent evening in the Worcester Wednesday 6 aside league held at Sixways Stadium with all teams in attendance as usual and everything running smoothly.

The premier division saw SnakesFC suffer their first defeat of the season this week as they went down 4-1 to 2nd placed Expecting Toulouse. Although this was their first defeat of the season, SnakesFC still retain top spot and are 8 points clear of this weeks opponents. Brap FC and You Petr Cech Yourself are also 8 points behind the leaders and just 2 points separate 2nd to 7th place.

Dales Sixes and The Rifes continue to head division 1 locked on 17 points each as they both gained victories this week. Match of the evening in this division saw Ballas Atletico narrowly defeat Barcaloners 4-3 in an attacking encounter which saw both teams have opportunities to take the spoils.

KFC Wimbledon maintained their 4 point lead at the top of division 2 with a narrow 1-0 victory over Priestlane Wanderers. Diamond White Alley moved into second place on goal difference after they dominated Six Offenders in a 4-1 victory. Borussia Teeth FC narrowly defeated bottom side Sporting Badhaircuts 2-1 to keep in the hunt for the title.
