Wednesday 28th April - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league at Sixways Stadium this week, as we welcomed a new team to the league in the form of The Blue Waffles, they went straight into the Premier Division and put in a stellar performance against Snakes FC who have a 100% record in the table, they eventually went down 2-1 in a spirited performance, but this stands them in good stead for the rest of the season.

Brap FC moved into third place in the Premier Division after an impressive performance yielded a 10-2 victory against Lads on Toure, whilst Paris Shags Ya Nan dropped to third following a 2-1 reverse against Gently, who moved up to sixth place.

In Division One it was a perfect night for The Rifes, as they beat league leaders Dales Sixes 5-4 in a thriller, this coupled with Quarentina's 4-3 defeat against Plunger and Superglue sees them move into second spot and level with their opposition.

KFC ran out 5-0 winners over Real Sosobad FC in Division Two to further their lead at the top.  They now sit three points clear of second placed Priestlane Wanders who leapfrogged Six Offenders after beating them 2-1.
