Wednesday 18th May - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only disappointment being two non-attendances, Big Dogs FC and Warriors Staff will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns on Wednesday 25th May.

Sporting A Beergut moved to the top of the Premier Division this week as they made short work of new team Kebab Shop Boys who they thrashed 11-1, boosting their goal difference in the process.  El Nino dropped to second after dropping their first point of the season, they played out a 1-1 draw with FC Marshelona, whilst champions Priestlane Wanderers were 8-3 winners over Wednesday Social in an entertaining game, moving them up to third.

Expecting Toulouse went top of Division One this week as they were 2-1 winners against Get Your Klopp Out, whilst The Charvas drop from top to fourth in a congested division at the early stages, they were beaten 5-3 by Bishy FC.  Coral FC now move into second place as they beat Lads on Toure 5-1, this their second win on the spin.  Paris Ganjaman rounded off the night with their first points of the season, they were 5-3 winners over Probably Hungover in another entertaining match!

Small Pond FC's winning start in Division Two extended into a third week, a 6-0 win over new boys Pique Blinders ensures they're the only team in the division with a 100% record remaining.  Dixie Normous moved to third place with a 3-1 win over Cheeky Naldos, whilst Make 6 a side Great Again were in rampant form as they brushed aside Largentina 10-1.

In Division Three, Chicken Ball FC collected their third win on the spin, they were 6-1 victors against Sixual Deviants, whilst MEC Cartel got their second win in three as they were 2-1 winners over Gotta Die for 3 Pints.  Vlads Lads registered their second win since defeat on the opening day as they hammered Murder on Zidane's Floor by 6 goals to 2.  New boys Unathletico got their first point since joining, sharing the spoils with I Predict a Diet in a 2-2 draw.

We look forward to seeing all teams in attendance for game week 4 with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
