Wednesday 23rd June - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being a cancellation from Snakes FC and a failure to arrive from Gently, both of which will return on 30th June.

The early leaders in the Premier Division met this week as Brap FC and The Rifes played out a 2-2 draw in an entertaining fixture.  You Petr Cech Yourself were the big winners of the night as they romped to an 8-1 victory over Blue Waffles.

Priestlane Wanderers have flown out of the blocks in Division One, a 5-0 win over Plunger and Superglue their third victory in a row, having now scored 12 and conceding zero in the early part of the season.

Sporting a Beergut have also got off to a flying start to the season,  following up their 10-0 victory last week with another emphatic result, as they recorded a 7-2 thrashing over Barcaloners, they have now scored an incredible 22 goals in just three games!
