New Bury St Edmunds 6 a side season kicks off

A new 6 a side season got underway down at the Skyliner Sports Centre with a couple of new teams joining the league.

In the Premier League newly crowned champions Six Offenders kicked off as they mean to go on with a convincing 10-0 win over newly promoted Chicken Tikka Mo Salah who discovered quickly how tough the step up can be. New team Dean weren't quite ready to join the league this week so another new team Madeleine Milan picked up a 5-0 win to go second. Ballacks Ref also enjoyed a winning start as Sporting A Beer Gut failed to appear which was strange considering they asked for their trophy and medals this week. We will be in touch with them to find out what happened. In the other match in the Prem Labas got off to a winning start defeating Gangstas Allardyce 4-2.

Onto Div 1 and relegated Athletic Bilbarrow will be looking to bounce back at the first attempt and got off to the perfect start to go top with a 6-0 win against Triple C. New team Sheffield Tuesday playing their first match go second as they won against Klopps & Robbers 5-0. There was also wins for Guns and Moses who beat Puyol Pants Down 4-2 and for Skillet Bang who enjoyed a 4-1 victory against Kroos Control.
