Eastbury Eagles and Cockfield Sixes lead Bury 6 a side

A good night of 6 a side football down at the Skyliner Sports Centre last night as all 12 teams took to the pitch for week 2 of the season. We are pleased to announce 4 new teams will be competing in a new division from next Tuesday which will then be combined with the other two divisions at the end of the season. Also we would just like to wish the lad from Athletic Bilbarrow a speedy recovery to his ankle injury he sustained when turning on it at the league last night. Hope to see you back playing in a few weeks.

On to the football and at the top of the Premier League there are two teams who have won their opening two matches. The first of those is reigning champions Eastbury Eagles who defeated Athletic Bilbarrow 3-2 while second place Cockfield Sixes overcame Suffolk Is Ours 2-1. In the other fixture Multiple Scoregasms secured a entertaining 6-3 win over Bury United Sixes.

In Div 1 we also have two teams with 100% records after week 2. Top of the table after an excellent start to the season are Good Ol Boys who won 3-0 against Skillet Bang. Second place AFC Vikings defeated Greengos 2-1 while in the final match there was a 4-2 win for Failed Delivery over AFC Cornhole.

Thank you to all teams and see you next week
