Bury St Edmunds 6 a side is back!

There was a welcome return to 6 a side football at our Bury St Edmunds Tuesday league last night as we got the new season underway after over 6 months away.

There were some really competitive matches throughout both divisions. In the Premier League Six of Spades went top us they had a points match win due to Brexit Brigade being away. We will be in touch with them to see if they are starting back next week. Multiple Scoregasms go second as they won a 7 goal thriller with Murder On Zidanes Floor 4-3. There was also a narrow win for Cockfield Sixes as they defeated Bury United Sixes 2-1. The other result in the Prem was a 1-1 draw between Suffolk Is Ours and Athletic Bilbarrow.

Flaircaseysboys received a points match win to go top of Div 1 this week however the space in the league will be filled for next week with teams waiting to join. Greengos, Skillet Bang and Rafa Cakes also picked up wins on the opening night with Greengos securing a 5-2 victory over Havana Ballsup Utd. Rafa Cakes hit 3 without reply against Sheffield Tuesday while Skillet Bang took the points in a 2-0 win over AFC Vikings.
