Cockfield & Eastbury lead Bury St Edmunds 6 a side

Thank you to all teams down at our Bury St Edmunds 6 a side Tuesday league last night. We also welcomed 4 new teams to the league who will be starting their league season on 17th March in the new Div 2 which will then expand to 6 teams at the end of April when we have secured more pitch time from. This means that teams currently in Div 1 will have promotion and relegation this season.

The Premier league is shaping up to be a good contest this season as reigning champions Eastbury Eagles and Div 1 champions Cockfield Sixes battle it out for the trophy. Last night Cockfield had a 5-0 points match win due to Bury United Sixes booking the week off so moved above Eastbury on goal difference, Eastbury winning 5-2 on the night against Suffolk Is Ours. In the other match Multiple Scoregasms moved up to 3rd and 2 points off the top two with a 5-2 victory over Athletic Bilbarrow.

In Div 1 there are also two teams with 100% records still after week 3 as top of the table Good Ol Boys defeated Failed Delivery 8-4 while second place AFC Vikings had a points match win with AFC Cornhole also away but will be returning next week. The other league match saw 3rd place Skillet Bang run out 7-0 winners against Greengos.
