FANTASTIC NIGHT IN STOURBRIDGE!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Stourbridge Monday League this week. It was however very disappointing that 'Real Madras' were unable to fulfil their fixture. As this is second non-attendance in as many weeks the team will be removed from the league with immediate effect. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'Inter Mi'Bathams' and 'West Midlands United F.C.'. Two veteran teams that have played each other a number of times but it was 'Inter Mi Bathams' who came out with the 3-1 win. This means 1 point splits three teams in the race for the title with 3 weeks to go, next week the top two face off in what will be the match to watch next week. 'West Midlands United F.C.' are in a relegation battle as three teams are split by 3 points, can they go clear before the season comes to an end?

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' and 'Nitty Committee FC'. A 8 goal thriller that could have gone either way but ended with 3rd placed 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' coming away with a 5-3 win and therefore keeping themselves in the hunt for a promotion spot come the end of the season. Congratulations to 'Crep City FC' who confimed promotion to the Premier Division with 3 games to go in there victory, for the final few weeks they will be looking to wrap up the title as well, well done to the team!

Team of the week are 'Chip Butty FC' unbeaten in five games now they are looking to next season and really looking forward to making a possible title push. Can they keep the run going until the end of the season?
