FIVE TO GO IN THE STOURBRIDGE MONDAY LEAGUE!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Stourbridge Monday League this week with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'West Midlands United F.C.' and 'That Peter Crouch Team'. The league leaders really had to work hard to hold off a stern challenge this week and were able to come out as 2-1 winners in the end. 'That Peter Crouch Team' have a top of the table clash against 'Borussia Teeth' next week, who will be looking to bonce back after disappointment this week, who will come out on top?

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the 9 goal thriller between 'Delph and Safety' and 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck F.C.'. When 'Delph and Safety' went 5-0 up it looked like they were home and dry and were cruising to victory but a spirited fightback from 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck F.C.' came up just short in losing 5-4 in the end.  A brilliant result for a fairly new team against a team that have been playing with us since it's inception.

With the result above 'Delph and Safety' are our team of the week following their brilliant performance against 2nd in the division. With 5 games to go it will be interesting to see if they can continue this fine form into those games.
