FOUR GAMES GONE IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for. It was also great to welcome new teams 'Pique Blinders' and 'Wall Heath FC'. They both put on very good showings for their first games and we look forward to seeing how they progress as the season moves forward and the new division gets underway. Good luck in your future games!

Four very good games in the Premier Division but the game of the night goes to the game between 'Neville' and 'West Midlands United F.C.'. 'West Midlands F.C.' were in control at 1-0 up but a great comeback from 'Neville' with 2 quick fire goals meant they took the win 2-1 and climb to fourth in the league in the process. With how competitive all the games were on the night it will be interesting to see where everyone ends up come the end of the season.

Last game of the night between 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' and 'Delph & Safety' was the game to eatch in Division One. Having played each other a few times now is clear to see that both teams are quite evenly matched, however it was 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' who came out on top 2-1, climbing to within one point of the top of the league in the process. Next time out the they look to build on this as they face off against the team with the same points as them 'Big Stiff Idoits'.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'SH Dons' and 'Call The Cops FC'. Two similarly able teams that served up a cracker, 'SH Dons' 100% record is over as the two teams played out a 4-4 draw and it will be interesting to see if they both are there or thereabouts come the end of the season. Who will come out on top next time the two teams meet? One things for certain it will be a very entertaining game if this game is anything to go by.

'Murder On Zidane's Floor' are our team of the week. A very impressive 6-1 has helped them to climb to top of Division Two and setting there sites on the title for this season and promotion to Division One. There next game sees a top of the table clash between them and 'SH Dons', who will be top after the two teams clash on matchday 5.

A quick reminder that the centre is closed Monday 3rd May 2021 due to it being bank holiday Monday and will resume Monday 10th May 2021, see you all then! It's all very exciting aswell as this will be the date when the NEW DIVISION THREE will kick off and with only TWO SPACES left this is the best time to get involved!
