STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 24TH APRIL 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

Unfortunately, we had one non-attendance as 'Dads United' were not present for there fixture, the league has been in contact with them and they have confirmed there return after the bank holiday weekend. It is paramount all teams are there for their fixture each and every week, please ensure you get in contact with the Area Manager if you and your team need any help so that the league can run as smoothly as possible each and every week.

An excellent evening of entertainment as teams battled against each other to fight out hard-earned victories. The game of the week was a thriller as we saw 'Hoosier Daddy's' take on 'Sexy Football'. The two teams were not willing to give in and took it right down to the wire, despite the game being a draw spectators struggled to take their eyes off the ball with the final score being 4-4 in an epic battle of end to end football. This game between the top two sides in the league could potentially have a huge bearing on who wins the title this season, we look forward to seeing who comes out on top.

The team of the evening is 'I Like That' with their spectacular win to ensure the 3rd placed spot after this weeks games. The 8-2 victory is a bounce back from their recent poor form, however, they will look to try and keep this form consistent as we edge nearer and nearer to the end of the season. Will they finish best of the rest?

The league is now off for the bank holiday weekend meaning the league will resume again on Sunday 8th May 2022 as the centre is closed. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a happy bank holiday weekend and see you in a few weeks. As a side this will be the last bank holiday to affect the league until the end of August.
