The Stourbridge Sunday League returned this week with some cracking games which all teams enjoyed. We did have one non-attendance this week as 'Dusty Yutes' were unable to fulfil their fixture, they have confirmed there return to action this week. Please ensure you are trying to get a team out each and every and if this isn't possible you get in contact with the Area Manager as soon as possible.

Premier Division-

The first game of the evening resulted in a 5-0 win for ‘Sexy Football’ as two teams fought hard to come out on top. With there commitment and hardwork for the season now meaning they go for a chance for the title next week 'Sexy Football' are our team of the week. The next game was also a 5-0 win for ‘Pring Ding FC’ over ‘The Beasts Barmy Army’ to keep them top going into a top of the table clash against 'I Like That' next week. The final game of the Premier Division was a 6-2 thriller between ‘Magni Facio’ and ‘I Like That’ with ‘I Like That’ running out winners with a great performance from MVP Kian Lord who also scored a hattrick alongside Matt Jevan. This continues their title push currently sitting in 3rd with joint points as second place ‘Sexy Football’ and one point off top. This game was also game of the night in the Premier Division.

Division One-

Division One included lots of goal scoring sprees with the first coming for ‘Pathetico Madrid’ with a 7-1 win over ‘The Beasts Barmy Army’, a dominant display that bouds well with the new season fast approachingThe second game was also a good game between ‘Moves Like Agger’ and ‘AFC Audnam’ where ‘Moves Like Agger’ gained a creditable 5-1 victory to extend their lead at the top of the Division One and crown them Division One champions for this season, congratulations to them!  The final game which was game of the evening in Division One between ‘Big Butie Beaches’ and ‘Hoosier Daddy's' in a 7-3 victory for ‘Big Butie Beaches’ where there were hattricks for MVP Bradley Charles and Adam Bateman.
