A fantastic night 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for.
Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Stourbridge CC' and 'Rare FC'. In a very competitive league another cracking game was played between two good teams as reigning champions 'Rare FC' ran out 3-1 winners but were pushed all the way. With a top of the table clash against '50 Shades Of O'Shea' next week they will have a chance to be the game of the week again in a game that decided the title last season.
The top of the table clash in Division One was the game of the night between 'The Six Offenders' and 'Haven't Got A Kalou'. A top quality game that saw both teams fight tooth and nail for the win but it was 'Haven't Got A Kalou' who bounced back from defeat last week to come away with the 5-3 win. Both teams are now sitting on the same amount of points with 6 games gone and one point behind the league leaders, who will be crowned Division One champions?
Division Two game of the week saw 10 goals and some brilliant football as 'Horses For Courses' ran out 7-3 winners against 'Quatford Windows'. Two wins out of two mean they sit second only on goal difference and are looking strong in a league of strong new teams. Next up 'Murder On Zidanes Floor', who will come out on top.
Team of the week for this week is 'Gangstars Allardyce' as they go top of Division One. After relegation last season they are looking to bounce back at the first time of asking and are one point clear with one game left until the halfway stage. A tricky test against 'The Six Offenders' sits between them and top at the halfway stage.
