STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 18TH OCTOBER

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of very entertaining games of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League.

Unfortunately, we did have one non-attendance on the night as 'Who Ate All Depays' were not present for their fixture, they have confirmed there return for this week. It is paramount that teams are there for their fixtures each and every week and if not possible contact the Area Manager to ensure the league can run as smoothly as possible each and every week.

In more positive news, we did welcome new team 'Show Me Da Mane' who although they didn't get the result, they wanted will be looking to improve in the weeks to come. The league wishes you the best of luck moving forward in the league!

Game of the evening for the Premier League was between 'Troey's Rentboys' who took on league leaders 'Gangsters Allardyce'. The league leaders were on clinical form to take the win and are getting closer to the end of the season and still sitting top of the league. Can they keep their fantastic form up during the final five games?

Game of the week in Division One was the game between league leaders 'Murder on Zidane's Floor' and 'Sporting Kford'. Two very good teams looking for places in the Premier League next season that played out a very good 1-1 draw and meant 'Murder on Zidanes Floor' dropped their first points of the season. With five games to go who will finish in the top two of this Division come the end of the season?

Our game of the week in Division 2 was the game between 'Vai FC' and 'Yatesy VI'. In a great game 'Yatesy VI' came away with the 5-1 win and therefore only sit one goal off the top two going into the final five games of the season. With a game against 'OTR FC' next week they will be looking to jump into the top two spots.

Team of the week this week is 'Hold That FC' as they put in an impressive display against 'Haven't Got A Kalou'. Two points clear of third they are looking good for promotion with 5 games to go, can they get themselves into the Premier League next season?

Although the league is currently full their is always space on our waiting list! Sign up today to take a space and be apart of the best leagues in your area!
