STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 22ND NOVEMBER

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

It was a fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Stourbridge on Tuesday which saw everyone in attendance and some entertaining matches played across the league to finish the campaign. 

Unfortunately, we did also have an incident in the game between 'Hold That FC' and 'Swanky FC' when a player from 'Hold That FC' was carded for being abusive towards the referee at the end of the game, he has been fined £10 because of this. It is paramount all teams and players remain in the rules of the league at all times, if not disciplines will be issued swiftly and accordingly in order to look after everyone at the league.

In more positive news, congratulations to '50 Shades Of O'Shea', 'Murder on Zidane's Floor' and 'Lenton Orient' who finished the season as winners of their division.  And well done to 'Gangster's Allardyce', 'Kford Sporting' and 'RHs Finest' who finished as Runners-Up.  There is also congratulations to Evan Brookes of 'Rare FC', Kieron Austin of 'Workplace Products FC' and Zac Overthrow of 'Yatesy VI' who have walked away with the player of the season awards for their divisions and James Watts of 'Gangster's Allardyce', Reiss Banks of 'Hold That FC' and Alex Harris of 'Lenton Orient' who walked away with the top goal scorer award in each division. The league winners will be contacted over the coming days in order to decide what they would like their reward to be for their hard work this season for their respective league. The above teams and players will have the opportunity to be entered into their respective weekly prize draw or receive trophies and medals at the league.

We will be in contact with all teams in the coming days to give them their first kick off times for the new season that starts Tuesday 23rd August 2022.

Well done all and bring on the new season!

The league is now off for the England vs Wales game on Tuesday 29th November 2022 and will return Tuesday 6th December 2022 for the start of the NEWS SEASON. We would like to wish all players and their families the best as they enjoy the game!
