STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 6TH DECEMBER

The latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League.

Unfortunately, we did have one non-attendance on the night as 'Workplace Products FC' were not able to fulfil their fixture, we will be in contact with them in the comings days to confirm their return next week. It is paramount all teams are playing their fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you are having any problems, please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, it was also brilliant to welcome new teams 'HAS Bins', 'Lenton Orient B' and the newly named 'Any Chance' to the league as they all put in a good showing for their first week of the season. Good luck to all new teams moving forward!

Premier League game of the week saw last season's champions '50 Shades of O'Shea' up against new team 'Lenton Orient B'. It was a fantastic game of high quality and fast pace throughout, but no team could pull clear in an eight goal 4-4 draw to start the season. We look forward to seeing if either team can take the win the next time they meet later in the season.

Division 1 game of the night was between two teams that have played each other a few times now 'Haven't Got a Kalou' and 'Stourbridge Olympic'. In an end-to-end game it was 'Haven't Got a Kalou' who were able to come out on top 2-1 and get there season off to a brilliant start. Are they ones to watch in this Division for the season ahead?

Division 2 game of the night was between new team 'HAS Bins' and league veterans 'Innocent till Proven Gylfi'. In a very close encounter, it was experience that was the difference between the two teams as 'Innocent till Proven Gylfi' came away with a 3-1 win to start the season. Staking there claim for the Division 2 title early and looking to bounce back from relegation last season, are they the ones to watch?

It was another Division 2 team that were team of the evening as 'Yatesys VI' ran out winners in their game and sit top of the league after week one. They go into a game with 'Saka Potatoes' full of confidence but who's winning start will come to an end?
