STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 7TH FEBRUARY

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of very entertaining games of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

It was also great to welcome new team 'Gary Neville is a Legend' who although they didn't get the result they wanted will be looking to improve in the weeks to come. The league wishes you the best of luck moving forward in the league!

Game of the evening for the Premier League was between 'Troey's Rentboys' who took on '50 Shades of O'Shea'. In what seems to be a very tight fixture every time they play now it was '50 Shades of O'Shea' who were able to run out narrow 2-1 winners. Can they keep their fantastic form up during the final five games to catch 'Murder on Zidane's Floor'?

Game of the week in Division One was the game between league leaders 'Lenton Orient' and new team 'Gary Neville is a Legend'. Two very good teams looking for strong finished to the season but it was 'Lenton Orient' who ran out 5-3 winners in the end. With five games to go can they take the title for this season?

Our game of the week in Division 2 was the game between 'HAS Bins' and 'Yatesy VI'. In a great game 'Yatesy VI' came away with the 4-2 win and therefore remain as one of the two undefeated teams in this league. The two undefeated teams meet next week for the first time this season, who will come out on top?

Team of the week this week is 'Hold That FC' as they put in an impressive display against 'Sporting Kford'. One point off the top two with 5 games to go, can they get themselves into the top two before the end of the season?
