FIVE GAMES INTO THE SEASON AS HALFWAY NEARS!

A fantastic night 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for. 

It was brilliant to welcome new team 'Goals Aloud' and great to see them settle well into the league for their first game. We wish them all the best moving forward in the league. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Stourbridge CC' and 'Gylfi Pleasures'. 'Stourbridge CC' went into the game in red hot form after starting the season unbeaten but after they went a man down early it was a struggle throughout even though they were still unlucky in there 4-3 defeat. This marks 'Glyfi Pleasures' first win and they will now be looking to climb the league as the season progresses.

Some very close games throughout in Division One but it was the game between 'BH Darlings' and 'Winlot Rangers' who played the game of the night. A top quality game that saw 'BH Darlings' unbeaten start to the season come to an end also as 'Winlot Rangers' ran out 3-2 winners. The single player team formed at the start of the season are now starting to gel well and as they are now only two points off top they will be looking to climb the table further next week when they take on 'Stourbridge Olympic'.

Team of the week for this week has to be the Premier Division league leaders and defending champions '50 Shades Of O'Shea'. At there very best to beat their conquerors of last season 'Is It Half Time Yet?' 3-0. Next week will see them in a top two clash with 'Stourbridge CC', can they keep the unbeaten start going?
