GREAT START TO THE NEW DIVISION IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue on the night as Jake Stubbs was sent from the field of play in the final games of the night for being abusive towards the referee, he has been fined £10 for his action on the night.  It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. 

On more positive news, it was great to see a very successful start to the brand new division in the league as we welcomed new teams 'Springfield FC' and 'Athletic Dildao' to the league, joining 'See You Next Tuesday' and 'Mike Wazowski FC' in the new division. All put on very good showings in their first games and we wish them all the best moving forward in the new division.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Haven't Got A Kalou' and 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. Two very good sides that run each other very close every time they play and the result could have been very different if it panned out a different way. It was 'Haven't Got A Kalou' that came out on top 3-2 winners and now sit on the same points as there opponents going into a crunch game against the champions and league leaders '50 Shades Of O'Shea'.

The game of the night in the brand new Division One was between 'Mike Wazowski FC' and 'Athletic Dildao'. A seven goal thriller to start there league campaigns and it was 'Mike Wazowski FC' that came out on top 4-3 winners. Will they be one of the teams to watch as the season develops and the new comes up fast?

Team of the week has to be 'Springfield FC' with their brilliant victory over 'See You Next Tuesday' to start there charge in Division One. Are they the ones to watch for the title even after one game?
