JUST TWO GAMES TO GO IN STOURBRIGE TUESDAY LEAGUE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue on the night as Jake Brigga was sent from the field of play in the final games of the night for being abusive towards the referee, he has been fined £10 for his action on the night and banned from playing for two weeks.  It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'BH Darlings' and second placed 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. Although it was only 1-0 it was a tight affair that could have gone either way but with the second placed team coming out on top. '50 Shades Of O'Shea' will become champions for a third time in as many seasons next week if they win but face stiff competition in 'Rangers' who are flying after another win.

The game of the night in Division One was between 'Mike Wazowski FC' and 'Athletic Dildao'. Last time they met 'Mike Wazowski FC' were able to come out on top and get the win in a tight affair, this time 'Athletic Dildao' were able to get there revenge in a 2-1 win and show how evenly matched these two sides are. 'Springfield FC' will be promoted and win the Division One title if they win next week against 'Athletic Dildao' but lose and it will go to the final game of the season.

Team of the week has to be 'Athletic Dildao' with their brilliant victory above as they are now in with a chance of taking the title after 2 wins in a row. Can they keep the run going and take the battle to the final day?
