Match day 12 roundup

Leisure Leagues Mansfield Monday roundup:

Dallas Cowboys 5-1 Wii Not Fit

Wii Not Fit’s struggles continued on Monday as they were downed 5-1 by an impressive Cowboys side. The Cowboys who are notorious for getting shots on goal, were more successful than not with their attempts. Deadly finishing like this could see them rise the league even higher.

Man of the match: Josh Harbour

Sherwood Legends 0-0 Borussia Teeth

Two of the best 6-a-side sides in Mansfield faced off in an extremely competitive game on Monday night. There was simply nothing to separate between two strong well organised units. Whilst the point does either side not much good, both outfits can take credit for defensive masterclasses.

Man of the match: James Stratford

Aint Got A Kalou 2-0 Real Sosobad

Top of the table Aint Got A Kalou didn’t have it all their own way when they played a spirited Real Sosobad on Monday. In the end the class of Kalou paid off, and a lot of this was down to Zac Simpson, who was the best player on the park.

Man of the match: Zac Simpson

Miami Mint 0-0 The Six Offenders

Another game for the football purists saw a much improved defensive performance from the Six Offenders. Phil Chaplin’s men, are best known for their attacking style of play, but dug in deep on Monday to earn a good point against a fancied Miami Mint outfit.

Man of the match: Dale Chaplin

Total Rejects 5-0 Rainworth Youth FC

Total Rejects ran out comprehensive winners over one of our new sides Rainworth Youth FC. First to every ball, and more decisive in front of goal, Total Rejects showed their class and ran out at 5-0 victors. Rainworth Youth fielded many players below the age of 16, and because of this they have been replaced by another new team, Win or Lose.

Man of the match: Daniel Minter
