WEEKLY NEWS FOR 08th SEPTEMBER

Good morning all,

Our league league returned with a bang with all teams in attendance as expected! Goals galore on a humid night!

Bend It Like Bony 0 v 3 Backstreet Girls (Ben Bullis 3)
The first game back in our Monday league was an end to end spectacle which saw keepers Josh Davies and Stuart Green take centre stage as both keepers pulled off some extraordinary saves! Ben Bullis proved to be the difference between the sides as he bagged himself a hat-trick! Moment of the match goes to BackStreet keeper Stuart Green as he pulled off an absolute wonder save from a Alex Harrison penalty to keep his side in the lead!

(Jake Musto 2) Romasexuals 2 - 4 Club Tropicana Drinks FC (Matt Morris 3, Aaron Seviour 1)
We saw the top two take on each other early in the season and both unbeaten! Plenty of talent on display saw some brilliant football being produced! Jake Musto proving his worth to the Romasexuals as his brace gave them a realistic chance of overcoming the mighty Tropicana Drinks FC! However the combination of captain Aaron Seviour and Matt Morris proved too much as Tropicana ran out 4 - 2 winners to take a two point lead early in the season!

(Hakan Blackmore 4, Charlie 1, Jackson 3) Madrid 2019 8 - 0 Reus Crispies
Madrid 2019 returned to 2020 with an impressive performance from skipper Hakan Blackmore as his quick footwork and movement saw him score 4 brilliant goals and proved too hot to handle for an out of sorts Reus Crispies!

Tellisford United 8 - 0 Tugas FC
Reigning champions Tellisford United looked determined to defend their title as they all returned in matching kits to face Tugas FC, who put up a stubborn defense in the first to frustrate Tellisford but some great team play and slick movement saw Toby Murden open the scoring and then the flood gates opened as some slick passing and great team movement helped them secure an 8 - 0 win.

The Trowbridge Foxes 0 - 8 Triple Trunk FC
The final game of the evening also saw an 8 - 0 game as Triple Trunk produced some deadly finishing from all over the pitch as The Foxes struggled to keep up with the pace of the game in the late stages
