WEEKLY NEWS FOR 15th SEPTEMBER

Good morning all,

Another brilliant night of football up John of Gaunt school!

Backstreet Girls 0 - 6 Tellisford United
We kicked off a solid night of football with reigning champions Tellisford showing their class as they freely moved the ball around and caused a much improved Backstreet Girls all sorts of problems from the start, some ruthless finishing from captain Harry Ledbury and Ashton Shanley saw them run out comfortable winners in a 6 - 0 win.

Tugas FC 5 - 2 Trowbridge Foxes
A new look Foxes side showed great improvement as they took on the Portuguese outfit of Tugas FC! Chances were created at both ends but it was Andre Filipe that proved the difference as he ran the foxes defense ragged! Aydon Cleere popping up with an outstanding finish from distance as captain  Lindel Gilling finally arrived 20mins late to provide the assist but ultimately it wasnt enough as Tugas ran out 5 - 2 winners!

Reus Crispies 0 - 5 Triple Trunk FC
Triple Trunk look to keep their hopes of a maiden title alive as they put in an impressive performance against a much improved Reus Crispies, Kye Teague showing some outstanding class on the ball to help his side to a comfortable 5 - 0 which even saw shot stopper Bailey Cooper get a run out on field when the result was safe!

Tropicana Drinks FC 5 - 0 Bend It like Bony
Bend it like Bony failed to show for their game against the deadly Tropicana Drinks FC. Thank you to Josh Penelhum and his boys for jumping on for a second game to make sure they still got a competitive game. I will speak to the captain ASAP to confirm they will be in attendance next week or they will be removed from the league.

Madrid 2019 1 - 2 Romasexuals
Romasexuals bounced back from their defeat at the hands of Tropicana Drinks last week with a solid performance against Madrid 2019! This game genuinely could have gone either way with chances at both ends but it was the Romasexuals that bagged the all important second goal to take home the points!
