WEEKLY NEWS FOR 21st OCTOBER

Good afternoon all,

Yet again we had a great night of football up John of Gaunt school with all teams in attendance as expected and some brilliant games on display!

Al Bang Ur Nan 2 - 1 Six Offenders
Al Bang Ur Nan seem to be finding their form in the latter half of the season as they notch up another win with a solid display against a much improved Six Offenders! After taking a 2 - 0 lead Six Offenders were able to pull one back but couldn't bag the equalizer in the final minutes!

BackStreet Girls 1 - 3 Tellisford United
Harry Ledbury and his Tellisford United boys continue their march to the title but dont have it all their own way this week as BackStreet Girls put up a strong fight but ultimately couldn't turn over the champions elect! Can they stay unbeaten for the rest of the season?

The Jamaican Warriors 3 - 2 Ballack Eyed Peas
The final game of the evening saw The Jamaican Warriors keep up thier push for second place as they squeeze past Ballack Eyed Peas in a game that was truly end to end and settled by some brilliantly finishing! Ben Fielding with the pick of the goals as he opened the scoring with a rocket into the top right corner, however this wasn't enough to secure the points as some good movement up front from captain Lindel Gilling kept Ballack's defense busy and helped his team run out 3 - 2 winners.

CrossBar Challenge
Ben Cann and his Six Offenders were the latest team to take on our CrossBar Challenge to earn themselves money off their fixture! They are the first team to do the double! Check it out on Facebook!
