WEEKLY NEWS FOR 23rd SEPTEMBER

Good afternoon all,

We had another great night of football up John of School in Trowbridge!

BackStreet Girls 3 - 2 Al Bang Ur Nan
The opening game of the evening saw title contenders BackStreet Girls show up with a severely weakened side but somehow they managed to scrape a win against a much improved Al Bang Ur Nan side! Kevin Deadman with the pick of the goals as he banged in another screamer from distance! If he keeps this up he could have a goal of the season competition featuring just himself!

Six Offenders 1 - 3 The Jamaican Warriors
Lindel Gilling again led his side from the ront with a captains performance as the Jamaican Warriors proved too much for Six Offenders, this game was end to end throughout but The Warriors grabbed a late goal to seal the points and keep their hopes of a top two finish alive!

Tellisford United 4 - 1 Ballack Eyed Peas
We finished the evening with a  brilliant game of football betwene leaders Tellisford and a hugely improved Ballack Eyed Peas! This game had literally everything with some brilliant finishing on display as well as some fine goalkeeping! We even saw a missed penalty from Callum Stone! Tellisford seem the team to beat as we approach the half way point in the season! Can anyone take points off them in the run in?

CrossBar Challenge
Stuart Green and the BackStreet Girls were the latest team to take on our CrossBar Challenge to earn themselves money off their fixture! Unfortunately they all drew a blank, check it out on Facebook!
