WEEKLY NEWS FOR 07th FEBRUARY
Good morning everyone,
Thank you all for another great night of football up John of Gaunt school! Its fantastic to see all our Trowbridge leagues running so well and that is credit to everyone involved
The Untamed Fitness Premier League
Our opening game of the evening saw Scoring like Sonogo take on Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps which saw chances at both ends, Borussia eventually running out 3 - 0 winners. Newly promoted Class on Grass took on reigning champions Benteke Fried Chicken which saw Class on Grass put on a spirited performance with the goal of the game coming from captain Bradley Daws, however this wasn't enough to prevent them falling to a 5 - 1 defeat. FC Fusions saw off a determined Shunt Gunk Utd 3 - 2 in a hard fought game which could have gone either way! An under strength Club Tropicana Drinks FC took on Chuckle Vision in a game which saw some brilliant football played from both teams. Captain Arron Seviour proved to be the difference as Club Tropicana Drinks secured a 3 - 0 win. The final game of the evening saw a brilliant clash between M78 & Making Emile of It, both teams had multiple chances to take home the points but it was ultimately Mohammed El-Filali's man of the match perfromance which saw M78 bag the win 3 - 2!
The 3M0 Division 1
The Magpies Allstars make it back to back wins with a solid performance to see off 6 offenders, Hakan Blackmore earning himself MVP with a fantastic performance which saw his side finish 3 - 1 winners. Game of the night goes to a brilliantly contested game between Ivory Toast & Fossil FC in which we couldn't separate the sides in a 1 - 1 draw! The Freshford Rejects keep their title challenge going with a comprehesive 5 - 0 win over Saigon Express, can anyone stop them lifting the trophy? McDons couldn't make their fixture so thank you to the Saigon Express & ivory Toast boys who formed a make shift team and game them a competitive game! Lee Ross and his Past It FC boys put in the performance of the night with a resounding 10 - 0 win over Madeline Milan FC, can they make up the ground on the top two over the remainder of the season?
