WEEKLY NEWS FOR 12th SEPTEMBER

Last night saw the kick off of a BRAND NEW season at John of Gaunt school with expanded pitches! Great to see everyone in attendance and enjoying their football!

Saigon Express didn't let their excursions in the Tuesday league affect their performance as they put three past 6 Offenders in a dominate performance which saw 6 Offenders keeper make a couple of spectacular saves to keep the score line down! Could have a contender for save of the season if we caught it on camera! The second game of the evening saw a strong Chuckle Vision team take on Net Siz and Chill in what proved to be a one sided game which saw Net Six pinned back in their own half for most of it! Tom Mcwhinnie earning himself MVP with a fantastic performance between the sticks for Net Six and Chill,it wasn't enough though as goals from Mohammed El-Filali & Wesley McBarnett sealing a 2 - 0 win for Chuckle Vision. Last season Division 1 winners Past It FC look like a team to beat this season as they see off Borussia Munchevadgeflaps 4 - 2 in a game that was end to end with chances galore! Fc Fusion put down a marker under the leadership of Harry Ledbury as they smash reigning champions Lion & Fiddle 6 - 0 in what was an uncharacteristic performance from the champions!
The 3M0 Division 1
Zubahatajj FC put down an early marker as they put in an impressive performance against Steve Cade and his Fossil FC eventually running out 2 - 0 winners! Both teams look like they'll be competing for promotion this season! Two of the teams who look destined to battle it out for the title had to settle for a 1 - 1 draw as both Trippenham and Ivory Toast played an end to end game which has multiple chances at both ends to seal the points! Credit to both defenses and goal keepers for holding firm! New boys Geri Hat-tricks came up against an in form Scoring like Sonogo who are veterans of our Thursday leagues! A brilliant game of competitive football saw the veterans come out of top as they held on to a narrow 2 - 1 win to gain a vital win in the season opener! Game of the night goes to the epic clash in the final game which saw Magpies AllStars FC play out 4 - 4 draw with Madiline Milan! Division 1 looks like its wide open even after only 1 game! Going to be an incredible season!

All our leagues are currently full to capacity after reshaping our leagues to only include the best and most committed teams in the area!This doesn't mean we aren't looking for new teams to expand our current offering! The recommend a team bonus still stands and has been improved! Anyone who recommends a team to join our leagues will earn themselves BOTH a FREE GAME & FREE KIT! The team joining will also qualify for a FREE KIT after their second game in the leagues!
We are also looking for addition referees or anyone who would be interested in becoming a qualified referee! Please get in contact if interested. All paid positions!
