WEEKLY NEWS FOR 14th JUNE

Thank you all for a great night of football! Weather was perfect and this allowed for a brilliant standard of football! 

Premier League
Trow Utd kept pressure on top spot with a well deserved 7 - 3 victory over 6 Offenders, Tom Blackman walking away with man of the match. Great to see games played in such high spirits. Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps maintain their lead with a 5 - 1 win even without their talisman and leader Matt Giles who we wish a speedy recovery. Jason Rose being awarded MVP yet again! Remember to qualify for the prizes draws you have to be registered on the system! ABCDE FC put in a brilliant performance to see off Shunt Gunk Utd 2 - 0. Luke Alford the outstanding performer on the night. Bancoloana & FC Fusion played out a brilliant, fast paced and high scoring game which ended 4 - 4, credit to both teams for putting on a brilliant display. Teenage Mutant Ninja Srtels ended the evening with a comprehensive 8 - 1 win over White Horse, Stefan Bruggers showing his class throughout.

Division 1
Rob Clark can celebrate his birthday with a smile after his team Scoring like Sonogo put on a great performance to beat Dixie Normous 2 - 0. Tinchy Sneijder turned on the style with a comprehensive demolition of McDons which ran out 13 - 2, Curtis Betteridge pulling off numerous wonder saves to deny both Sean Horobin and Storm Brand even more goals! Stephen Holloway lead Ivory Toast to a solid 2 - 0 win over Class on Grass to lift them to third in the table and maintain their slim chances of promotion. The game of the night goes to the clash between The Freshford Rejects and Expected Toulouse which saw Freshford fall further behind the leaders after being held to a 1 - 1 draw! Credit to both defences. Fossil FC dusted off their scoring boots to round off the night with a 10 - 1 win over Crips Outlaws FC, Lee Ross with the pick of the goals in a man of the match performance.

Congratulations to Storm Brand from Tinchy Sneijder who won our national goal of the month competition! He will receive his football over the next couple of weeks! Trowbridge has now won the last two national goal of the month competitions which is testament to the standard of football we have on display here! Keep them coming and lets make it three in a row!
